Arthroscopic Surgery Orlando

Arthroscopic surgery is a minimally-invasive technique that reduces recovery time and scarring after surgery. The physician views the joint with a tiny camera inserted through an incision no larger than a buttonhole. This camera is smaller than the diameter of a pencil and sends visual images that are displayed on a television screen.

Little pain results from this kind of surgery, allowing most operations to be performed on an outpatient basis. Joints such as the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle and hip can be operated on through arthroscopy as well as cartilage and ligament tears, shoulder dislocations and rotator cuff injuries. Even complex knee ligament reconstructions are routinely done using arthroscopy.

Our team combines clinical experience with modern technology to help return our patients to a healthy, active lifestyle.
